For three days, we will be seeking God, training and equipping, praying on campuses, and ministering in the city. God wants to see cities in America completely saved, and He is raising-up young people who are passionately in love with Him, know how to pray, and walk in the power of God.

I often wonder, wow did I see every opportunity, did I look in the places that God had for me, Did I miss it more than I caught it?  This year, I can was one of the busiest years of my life.  I went like crazy doing and going and there were times that I fell like a rock ( hence the reason last weeks sermon is not on the net…;0) and there were times that everything went like I saw it happening.  Praise God for those times!

Was is the most important for me is that I stay true to the call and vision that God has put me under.  With all the opportunity that there is out there for people who are younger and talented (that is most of you out there reading this blog post) there is so much to take you away from the call of God on your life.

So many choices things to experience and see and all of them fairly good and wholesome.   There are the exception to that but there is a lot of Great opportunity there for you.  But the question remains.. Are you going to plant in the vision that God lays out or will you wait for the BBD? (bigger better deal)

Whats funny is that we live in a culture that refuses to engage in anything because they are waiting for the BBD.  People tell me all the time they will be some where if something better does not come up.  I do my best not to take up the offense.

See that can be part of the startegy of the devil.  Don’t do what is in your heart now because there is coming a BBD that will be there if you wait.  Often, when we move out in the plan that God has for us we are the BBD.  See we become the BBD when we burn enough for something to take steps to see it through.  There are a lot of talkers out there who have good ideas.  My challenge to you is to do more than talk.

6 years ago there was no Flood Youth. Now that group has notional influence.  1 year ago there was no 808.  Now we are making an impact here in Sarasota, and I am working to impact the bay area and beyond.  It just takes the time to respond to the call of God.

You might say you were older than me… well I started at 24 with little college.  But I love Jesus and have a passion for Him and His works. I have put time in coming under Restoration because the vision that comes from Kenton Slabaugh is bigger than me, and him and most of those who are part fo the church now.

In fact I am part of something that has vision to be bigger that it can even imagine.   My slice of this massive pie, at Restoration Fellowship, has started to mobilize. I am super excited because after 6 years of being here the things we have worked for are starting to come to pass.  I have worked to see the BBD and now I am realizing it and I am able to share with those who have come into the work ministry with me.

Hi friends!

I just wanted to thank everyone for being such a blessing in my life. I am so excited about what God is doing/going to do in and through 808! Just over the past couple weeks God has been taking me so much deeper in my relationship with Him, that im like WHOA where did this come from?! But I think that is happening to most if not all of us. It is so exciting to see all of us working as the body of Christ and just being who God has called us to be! So thank you everyone for just being YOU! I hope you all have an amazing day, and that God would equip you with everything you need plus more!

I’ve noticed the responses of people tend to be either one of fear or one of complacency.  Let me speak to this.  Fear is not the motivator behind all of this, but doing nothing is not the answer either. We need to operate in peace, being a step ahead of what potentially may be coming.  God is not going to send any kind of judgment to his people with out His Spirit confirming with with His prophets.

If we choose to ignore them then it is on our heads.  God has no motivation to hurt or destroy the world, he loves His people but the consequences for sin are black and white.  The wages of Sin is death!  But before we get all hell fire and brimstone…

Lets Look at who we know God to be:

1) God is a good and loving God. (Ps. 144:2)

2) God has been known throughout the Bible as one who warns his people before it is too late. (Joseph, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Jonah, and the rest of the prophets)

3) God desires that none should perish. (John  3:16-17)

Looking at these things we see that God does nothing with out telling the prophets first to warn the people and to bring them to repentance.  Look at the example of Jonah.  God sent him to Ninevah and he said to repent because God in 3 days will smite you. They did and God did not release his wrath.  Over and over God called his people to repentance and when that happened the people responded one of two ways.

1) Repentance:  Turning from wickedness, and going the other direction towards righteousness.

2) Rebellion:  I will not do what I am told because I don’t need to.  My way is fine.

There are examples of both in the Bible.  I would encourage you to study them out for yourself.

A Further Word

“If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?”

Recently I felt compelled to send out an URGENT message warning of an impending great calamity — such that will cause even God’s elect to tremble.

One Bishop asked, “Is there no further word: How should the righteous respond to such a word?”

I can only answer by sharing what the Holy Spirit is speaking to my own heart and what I am to do. I shared that I was led in a practical way to lay aside a month’s supply of food — because I have witnessed the panic in the wake of terrorism. That has to be a personal word for every individual.

This is what I hear the Holy Spirit speaking to my heart concerning my own spiritual response to impending calamity. It is simply this —STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.

“And Moses said to the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today…The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:13-14).

This is the attitude of faith in the face of calamity. What could Israel do on the brink of the Red Sea? Pharaoh’s army is pressing in, mountains are on both sides, and there is an impossible sea ahead. The flesh cries, “Do something!”

The flesh cries hopelessness. Can God’s people dry up the sea? Level a mountain? Fight a great army without having weapons? They are in what appears to be a dreadful, frightening situation. God’s people tremble — and in this hour of trembling comes a word from God. In essence:

“Stand still. Fear not. This is the hour of salvation. You are going to witness the pulling down of the foundations of a world power. But in the same hour, I will fight for you. Hold your peace — be still and see my works.”

Beloved, my warning is just one voice among many who are saying the same thing. We may all tremble for a season, but those who truly know God’s Word will be quickly comforted by the Holy Spirit. We will be baptized with a great peace — a supernatural quietness — which will be a tremendous witness to the fearful multitudes.

1) A picture of a crew boat with everyone working together in perfect unity, rowing in perfect unison. This is God’s heart for us in 808, to be in unity and work together as one.

2) The Lord said that we were all brand new cars.  Not used not ever driven before, but brand new.  That we need to have the mentality of a new car and not a used one that is just left over.  (Cars often mean ministries in prophetic themes) The Scripture that was given was, “The old has gone and the new has come.” The car seen in the picture was Jessica’s Ford Focus. A reminder for us that we need to focus and “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”

This speaks that the ministry that is happening is one that is new for us and is not just a re-run of something that has been done before, but it is something special.

The devotional that we had was about absolute truth and how the Bible IS absolute.  Our generation does not have absolute truth.  We have been taught subjective “truth” that changes with situations. This isn’t really truth at all.  The truth is that God is the same yesterday, today and forever!  We read from Joshua chapters 1-4.

It gets even better! During our prayer time there were 3 healings.  Seth Adkins’ knee was healed, Mark Moffitt’s knee was healed and so was Jake Kasper’s.  It was amazing!  While Seth was being prayed for he saw a vision of the city walking on a bad knee and it was being healed so that it could rise up again.  Praise God…that is powerful!

8:08 is a unique ministry geared for young adults who are in the college age to early career stages of life.

This is an exciting group that has lots of activity but also has a strong desire to seek the Lord Jesus and be a generation that is willing to raise up and take their place in this time in history.
