Being in that relationship with God is one of those things that until it grabs you and begins to develop in you it can’t be understood.
God wants to be in that relationship with you. I really mean a relationship, talking sharing time together and investing in a life together. Not a pray to the clouds sort of thing, but a touch my heart as I touch yours kind of thing.
In Deut. 5 God wants to hang out with His kids, but the kids reject Him. The rest of the Bible is God working at letting us (His Kids) know that there is no other real way to Him except through relationship. And we can never be satisfied any other way! That is the way we were designed by HIM!
If this seems deeper than what you are experiencing.. well chances are it is. I know that for me I was an associate pastor for 2 years before I had a relationship with Jesus. That’s right, you read that correctly, I had been converted, baptized and I faithfully went to church and served there on staff, however, I had little relationship with Him.
I encourage you, watch the podcasts.. this week and last week and get to know your Jesus
