There are so many people on a mission from God. There is an issue with this though.
When you ask people how they heard their mission from God many times they can’t give an answer. If they do give an answer, it is dicey at best. For example, have you ever heard when you asked some one how they hear from God “well I just knew that I knew,” or it is just a “still small voice?” Here is the deal, if you don’t already know what His voice sounds like, then these answers don’t help at all.
In fact most people (there are a few exceptions) can not tell you how to hear God. Mark Virkler asks “do you have a real relationship, or do you have a theology that tells you that you do?”
Whats my point? You can be saved and love God and do all of the “right” Christian things, but if you can’t hear God then you cannot obey what He says. Period. You just don’t know what to do.
There is just no way around that fact. Sure you can read the Word, and it is the Word of God, but even in the Word God still chose to speak to people.
Now with the new covenant, we are all allowed to “come boldly before the throne of God” and to be able to have two way communications with God. The truth is that God is speaking all the time to all of us, but we just do not how to listen.

I’m all about hearing that voice of god…the real voice…and be able to answer that intimidating question of “how do you hear god?” with authority and certainty. So that i can represent to people that i have a father and that i have a purpose so that people can be envious and chase after what i chase…or to just be jesusless….
