But know this, that in th elast days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobediant to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutalm despisers of good, traitors…
and the list goes on and on and on…
So has this time come. Are we facing times like we have never seen before. I heard some older men the oter day saying that america will never be the same. That the America they new is lost.
Well, I don’t know about that. Here are some good points about that
1) The America thay was known in the early 1900’s included terrible ineqalities racism and hatred. — Glad that is mostly gone.
2) That America was an island. One that did not journey into the lands of others and work at being less world power and more world leader. — That Change could be good.
3) That America was falsely inflating debt, and now the floor has dropped out and we are stuck holding those bills. Well, lets not repeat those mistakes.
See, these are perilous times, but lamps were made for darkness. We are called to be a lamp for such a time as this. We are called to be ONE, as a city on a hill. Showing the way out of darkness and into the light. So if the world doesn’t need light, then we are not needed.
However, this world needs light. This world needs the anchor of truth, and Jesus. That He is the way the truth and the life and no one gets to the father except by Him. And futher more, We can be the voice to make way for the return of our King to His bride.
Let us declare the gospel of Jesus Christ and proclaim it boldly with the discipline of our lives.
